Cate Young is a an award-winning Trinidadian writer, culture critic and podcast producer based in Los Angeles. Her writing focuses on the intersection of race, gender, and sexuality, with a specific emphasis on introducing an intersectional analysis to discussions of film, television, music, and critical commentary on media representation. Her work has appeared in NPR Music, Jezebel, Nylon, Bitch Media, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Vulture and Paper Magazine among others. Currently, she produces the podcast “Even The Rich” for Wondery.
