Membership Requirements

The Online Association of Female Film Critics (OAFFC) is a network that supports the exchange of experiences, advice and strategies among online female film critics around the world. Membership is open to all female film critics whose primary media affiliation is an online publication and whose work meets the OAFFC’s standards of quality. No writer will be denied membership on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation, physical disability, ethnic heritage, age, or place of residence. There is no membership fee.

Members must show at least one year of experience in the field and must have written and published at least 100 film reviews before being considered for membership. Members are required to write at least four (4) film reviews per month to maintain their status. Members who fail to meet these requirements will be suspended for six (6) months, after which time they may reapply to be reinstated.

The OAFFC does not extend membership to writers whose primary media affiliation is a traditional print publication, nor to radio and television broadcasters.

If you are interested in joining our Association, please contact us to request a membership application.
