Jenn Rohm

Jenn.Rohm
Jenn Rohm, a native of Dallas, Texas, has been deeply influenced by the transformative power of film. Her journey began in 1977 when she was captivated by the magic of movies like “Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure” and “Star Wars: A New Hope” at North Park Cinema II. These early experiences instilled in her a lifelong love for the silver screen, shaping the woman she is today.

In 2017, she joined The Clubhouse Podcast. This gave her the opportunity to not only discuss the movies she was seeing but also to write and share in an online format. When the pandemic hit, work (the paying gig) became a priority, and she had to step away from movies for a bit. In 2023, she joined Selig Polyscope and began writing for their site, Selig Film News. New doors opened, with attending film festivals to ask questions on the Red Carpet and the opportunity to interview filmmakers, cast, and crew about their projects.

With a deep affection for independent films, she enjoys pieces that pull her out of the real world and create a temporary escape, teach her something new, and ones that inspire conversation. Her guilty pleasure is in action films with good car scenes.

You are likely to find her at the Dallas Independent Film Festival, Bentonville Film Festival, Asian Film Festival Dallas, and Tall Grass, with more to come.
