
Jess is a Cambridgeshire-based author, film and culture critic and interviewer. Her words have appeared in Rolling Stone, GQ, Total Film, Elle, The Guardian, Dazed, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Stylist, Radio Times, Teen Vogue and the i. Previously, she freelanced as an entertainment reporter for Stylist, Digital Spy, Metro, Huff Post, The Mirror and OK! and has covered various film festivals and appeared on panels at the BFI and EIFF. Her first non-fiction book, I’m Just a Girl, came out in 2026 that examined the cultural resurgence of girlhood in pop culture, fashion and film.
Alongside this, Jess has interviewed a host of directors, actors, authors and creatives such as Zendaya, Margot Robbie, Emily Blunt, Brian Cox, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Angela Bassett, Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen. In between overanalysing her favourite films, TV shows and internet trends, she’s working on her debut fiction book.
