Growing up film was an integral part of my life, and as a child, I watched Labyrinth, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Aliens on repeat. My career has seen me transition from Blockbusters and Cineworld, to time working for distribution companies Lionsgate and eOne. I have been writing about movies for the last over a decade, mainly writing for the entertainment website THN, but have also contributed to Blu-Ray releases for companies including Arrow Video, Second Sight, and Vinegar Syndrome.

Although I happily embrace films from all genres, my affinity lies with all things macabre, and so most of my writing focuses on films that fit within the horror spectrum. Covering both FrightFest and Fantasia Film Festivals are highlights of my year and are a great opportunity to unearth new frightful delights. In addition to writing, I also love talking about films and regularly interview cast and crew about the latest horror and can also be found guesting on various podcasts including Modern Horror, Horror Hangout, and Uncut Network. Then, in a complete 180, I host Movies with Mummy, a micro-podcast with my daughter.
