Movies have been in Lauren’s blood for as long as she can recollect. As a kid, she distinctly remembers choosing to watch classic black and white films with her parents instead of Saturday morning cartoons. She would save up her allowance and buy movie soundtracks instead of toys and trinkets. The Oscars are her Superbowl, and the cinema is her religion of choice.

In college and as part of her bachelor’s degree, Lauren focused on women studies, specifically on women and disability in film. She has been able to foster and share her love and passion for film with her husband and writing partner Josh, and together, they created Lolo Loves Films in 2013. With sass and sarcasm, she has made it her mission in life to see and review all the things. There’s no going back now!
