Nicole is a writer based in North Carolina, after living in London and New York. She has a BA from Elon University and an MA from City University of London.
She writes and podcasts for Next Best Picture, FF2 Media, In Their Own League, and Culturess, as well as writing theatre criticism for BroadwayWorld and her own blog, Flower Crowns and Revolutionaries. She also cohosts a period drama podcast called Petticoats & Poppies: History Girls at the Movies, on which she uses her background in history to give more context to period films.
She is a proud member of the North Carolina Film Critics Association and is thrilled to be a Tomatometer approved critic. Her taste in film tends towards anything starring Saoirse Ronan or Keira Knightley, but she also loves Marvel and Star Wars. She love supporting female filmmakers and working to ensure that film criticism has a variety of voices. In addition to film, she is passionate about history and theatre.
