Pâmela Eurídice is a journalist, professor, and holds a Master’s degree in Society and Culture in the Amazon. Her research focuses on women’s filmmaking in the Amazon and Afro-Brazilian literature. She is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) and the Brazilian Association of Film Critics (Abraccine).
She writes for Cine SET, where she created and produced the podcasts Visões Femininas and Icones do Cinema Amazonense. She is the author of The Female Gaze: The North Behind the Camera and one of the editors of Cine SET and Film Criticism in Amazonas: A New Chapter.
