Film Carnage was established by Rebecca in 2015 and slowly grew into a place to celebrate all things indie film. Covering anything from student shorts to festivals to new releases, from any and every genre. The site is dedicated to providing filmmakers with honest, constructive and fair reviews of their work. It’s a one-woman team, with over 2,300 reviews posted so far, as of 2026.
One of the aims of Film Carnage is also to highlight films with women and the LGBTQIA+ community behind, and in front of, the camera.
