Sara Clements’s film criticism journey began in 2017 when she started writing for a student-led entertainment publication at her university. The website may have only been around for a year, but her desire to write continued. Since it folded, she has graduated from university with a degree in journalism and has been published in both print and online.
Sara writes reviews, features, and interviews, and freelances for several websites including Thrillist, The Mary Sue, Exclaim!, and Daily Dead.
Sara is also an editor for Next Best Picture and prides herself on being the only Rotten Tomatoes certified critic from her city in Canada. She hopes that will inspire more local journalism students to pursue film writing.
