Ashley has always been a fan of movies and tv shows. But it was after she had her first theater experience watching “The Lion King”, that she truly fell in love with everything about the movie making process. As she grew up, she continued to be passionate about the entertainment industry which led her to using her communications background to realize her dream of being a journalist and film critic.
She often interviews directors, producers, stars, and other industry talent, although her favorite conversation might be when she talked about magic tricks and impressing her kids with Paul Rudd. Her reviews have been shared by Marvel Studios, Netflix, Popsugar, and Walt Disney Studios. She co-hosts the “Geek Girls Universe” podcast, a show that discusses the most exciting geek news. Ashley also writes for CBR.com as a film and tv writer, where she breaks down theories, trailers, and other fandom related topics. This movie nerd also enjoys attending The Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, D23 Expo, SXSW, and Star Wars Celebration.
