Catherine Gonzales

Catherine graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television-Film. Her love of film began at a young age and drove her parents mad re-watching “The Lion King: Simba’s Pride” everyday after school for a year. While her tastes evolved browsing the aisles of her local video store, the curiosity of filmmaking and stories she watched continued to grow. That led her to pursue her love of film and television in college and eventually find her way to starting her own online entertainment website. And recently, co-founding the Latinx Lens podcast to highlight Latinx/a/o representation in Hollywood and add a much-needed diverse lens in film and television criticism.
